Thanks for all the donations and pledges!

As we get closer to our kick-off climb I am excited to see that that the support is really starting to come in. I see some names of family and friends on the donation and pledge list--thanks to those of you who have to put up with us every day (and are still willing to give)!

I also see many unfamiliar names. Thank you for taking the time to find out what we are about, and thanks for your support. This is the really amazing part to me. It certainly inspires me to work hard for this project.

Thanks to Osprey Packs!

When I first met Galen Rowell in 1996 we were both on an expedition to the North Coast of Greenland. The month we were up there, Galen talked about many things -- including his travels in Tibet and his support for the Tibetan people. I imagine that he and Barbara would be very pleased that their friends and family chose to honor them by continuing to support the preservation of Tibetan culture.
Osprey packs helped sponsor that 1996 exploration of an unvisited area of Greenland. Once again, they are supporting us as we start our 50 For Tibet project to raise money for the Rowell Fund.
Thanks to Osprey Packs!
